How the return process works

  • Send an email with your order number to mail@morgenland-teppiche.de.
  • You will receive your return label by email.
  • Pack the item carefully and attach the return label prominently to the parcel.
  • Drop the parcel off at a shipping service provider and keep the proof of postage.
  • Once the return has been received, the refund will be processed within 14 days as a rule.

Alternatively, you can arrange the return postage yourself and drop the parcel off at a shipping service provider of your choice. In this case, the return shipping costs are borne by you.

Return costs per size (Germany & Austria)
  • Rugs up to 150 cm: €7.95 per item.
  • Rugs from 150 cm to 300 cm: €14.95 per item.

*These costs also apply to blankets, sheepskins and other items.

Return conditions

You may inspect the item as you would in a physical shop. For a full refund, the product must be returned unused, undamaged and ideally in its original packaging. Custom orders are excluded from the right of return.

The following are excluded from returns:
  • Products received more than 31 days ago
  • Products without original packaging
  • Custom orders
  • Damaged, used or incomplete items
  • Non-slip mats without original packaging

Returning large rugs

Large rugs must be packaged in the same way as when they were originally delivered. If the rug was delivered folded in a box, please return it folded in a box.

Can I return a rug if I don't like it?

Yes, you can return the rug within 31 days. The item must be unused and ideally in its original packaging. Custom orders are excluded.

Can I exchange an item?

A direct exchange is not possible for system reasons. Please order the desired item again and return the other one separately.

What should I do if I receive a defective or incorrect item?

Please send us an email with a photo of the defect. After review, we will exchange the item or refund the purchase amount. In this case, we will cover the shipping costs.

When will I receive my refund?

After the return has been reviewed, we will refund the amount within a few days to your original payment method. The exact duration depends on your payment provider.
