Black Friday

Black Friday rug deals at Morgenland

Since 1977, everything at Morgenland has revolved around rugs. For Black Friday, you will find selected models in a range of styles and materials at promotional prices.

Depending on the current sale range, you can discover, for example, modern rugs, wool rugs, designer rugs, vintage rugs, Gabbeh rugs and oriental rugs.

This way, your choice does not start with the biggest discount, but with the more important question: which rug suits your home?

Which rug suits your style of living?

Material, pattern and workmanship influence how a rug looks in a room.

Wool rugs bring a natural material feel and a pleasantly soft surface to your living space. With their clean lines and understated designs, modern rugs are a particularly good match for contemporary interiors. A designer rug, on the other hand, can be used deliberately as an eye-catcher, giving the room a stronger design accent.

Rugs made of cotton, jute, sisal and other natural fibres bring visible textures to the interior. With synthetic fibres, properties and care requirements vary from product to product.

With their characteristic patterns, traditional oriental rugs set a different emphasis from pared-back modern designs. What matters, therefore, is not only the style of the rug, but also how it interacts with the furniture, colours and use of the room.

Choosing the right size, colour and shape

Before you buy, measure the intended area and take the position of your furniture into account.

For smaller areas, 100 x 150 cm or 120 x 180 cm may be suitable, for example. Sizes such as 150 x 200 cm or 170 x 240 cm suit many living situations. For larger rooms and generous seating areas, options include 200 x 300 cm, 250 x 350 cm or 300 x 400 cm.

Colours also influence the feel of a room. Beige rugs, grey, brown and white are easy to combine in an understated way, while blue, green, red, yellow or orange can set stronger accents.

Besides colour, shape plays a role. Rectangular rugs follow the classic lines of furniture and rooms, while round rugs can loosen up straight structures and highlight individual areas.

On smooth floors, also make sure the rug has slip resistance suitable for where it will be used.

Black Friday rugs for different living areas

Every room places different demands on the size, material and use of a rug.

Living room

In the living room, a rug can visually connect the sofa, armchairs and coffee table. With larger seating groups, the overall look often appears particularly cohesive if at least the front legs of the main pieces of furniture stand on the rug.

Bedroom

In the bedroom, comfort and a cosy atmosphere come first. Soft rugs and high-pile rugs can be a suitable option here.

Dining room

In the dining area, the rug should offer enough space for the table and chairs. Allow sufficient room so that the chairs stay on the rug as far as possible, even when pulled back.

Hallway and kitchen

In more heavily used areas, robust and easy-care options are practical. Runners can be particularly suitable for narrower hallways and kitchen areas.

Children's room

In a children's room, comfort and suitability for everyday use play an important role. Choose the size and material to match how the room is used every day.

Balcony and terrace

For balconies and terraces, outdoor rugs that the manufacturer expressly intends for outdoor use are suitable.

Compare Black Friday rugs carefully

A rug should not win you over with its promotional price alone. So compare size, material, colour and design, and check which model best suits your room and your interior.

That way, it is easier to find a rug in the Black Friday rug sale that you will enjoy using in your home long after the promotion.
