This colourful Abadeh carpet is hand-knotted with great effort. An extremely attractive and hard-wearing carpet that is knotted in the town of Abadeh in south-western Persia. The small town of Abadeh is located between Isfahan and Shiraz. The pattern is influenced by the nomads and often consists of a hexagon in the middle with a rosette or medallion.
