This Nahavand carpet is made of the best quality. Rustic charm, warm natural tones in indigo blue and red and special durability are the hallmarks of the Nahavand. Hand-spun Iranian highland wool gives it a soft sheen. The 'Turkish knot' provides the robust surface. Nahavand is considered one of the simplest of Persian carpets. They are traditionally hand-knotted in the villages around the Iranian city of Hamedan. Each carpet is an imaginative individual piece. Small irregularities in the pattern indicate this. Nahavands are beautiful utility rugs with an attractive price-performance ratio.
