Meymeh is considered one of the simplest of Persian carpets. They are traditionally hand-knotted in the villages around the Iranian city of Hamadan. Each carpet is an imaginative individual piece. Small irregularities in the pattern indicate this. This carpet is a good quality Meymeh.
