Ghashghai carpets are called the king among Persian nomadic carpets. For nomadic carpets, they are very densely woven and the motifs are among the most exciting and varied in carpets woven by nomads. A large proportion of Ghashghai carpets show the geometric design, a diamond-shaped central field with a rather plain medallion. The inner field is filled with an unusual number of ornaments, often with figurative motifs. The hand-spun wool is of medium height and captivates with its natural-looking nature. Only natural dyes are used as colours. These carpets are knotted from memory, as the pattern and colour combinations are created exclusively from the gut. Due to their high quality, they have a very good price-performance ratio.
